Sabine Herlitschka
Infineon Technologies Austria AG
Sabine Herlitschka studied food and biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), conducted research at Immuno AG and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management. She joined BIT in 1996, served as Vice Rector at the Medical University of Graz from 2003 to 2006, and joined the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) in 2010. She has been a member of the Executive Board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG since August 2011 and Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Infineon Technologies Austria AG since April 2014. She has also been a member of the Council for Research and Technology Development and the Styrian Research Council, Vice-President of the Ludwig Boltzmann Society, Deputy Chair of the University Council of the Vienna University of Technology and Chair of ECSEL JU. Since 2020, she has also been Vice-President of the Federation of Austrian Industries and, since October 2024, Vice-President of the European Forum Alpbach.
