Nicole Formica-Schiller

Nicole Formica-Schiller is a prominent figure in the European AI and global innovation ecosystem. As CEO of Pamanicor Health AG in Switzerland, she founded one of the first global advisory firms applying AI and Blockchain with Life Science, Biotech, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Digital Health, Data and Digital Policy.
With her interdisciplinary background as digital innovation expert, lawyer and economist, she was appointed to “OECD AI Experts” leveraging her competencies in strategic tech and geopolitics. Renowned for her expertise in AI regulation, governance, digital sovereignty, she was one of the initial contributors to negotiations of the EU AI Act with representatives from European Commission, Parliament and government.
As subject matter expert she advised the German Government’s Data Ethics Commission, Digital Ministry Bavaria, Australian Trade Investment Commission etc. Appointed to the Board of German Israeli Health Forum for AI, she advises the German and Israeli Health Ministries. As Board member of German AI Association, she played a key role shaping it into one of Europe’s largest AI and Start-up ecosystems. She is appointed to the “Int. Advisory Board Digital Science & Interdisciplinary Technologies” by Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS) offering strategic advice for the new Faculty Digital & Analytical Sciences (e.g. Human Computer Interaction). She is well-known for guiding corporations in digital technology, AI strategies, and data-driven business models.
Nicole Formica-Schiller has been selected by Forbes for "most innovative ideas" in AI and Blockchain, is appointed as role model by former Bavarian Digital Minister and described by The London Financial as “internationally recognized AI expert”. Her book “AI and Blockchain in Healthcare: COVID-19 and future-oriented technologies“ (Elsevier) is considered a wake-up call! Before founding Pamanicor Health, she pursued a successful career across Europe, US, Asia at Nord Stream (CEO Liaison Officer), Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (IT/IP), Shearman Sterling, Allianz. She graduated as Attorney-at-law from LMU Munich with additional business degree.
