Helmut Schönenberger

Helmut Schönenberger (*1972) studied aerospace engineering in Stuttgart and completed a postgraduate degree in business administration at the Technical University of Munich. In his thesis comparing Stanford University with TUM, he recommended establishing a start-up center in Munich. In 2002, with the help of entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, this resulted in UnternehmerTUM gGmbH, today Europe's largest start-up and innovation center.
Helmut Schönenberger's passion is to lead promising start-ups to success and to inspire people for innovation and entrepreneurship. He pursues the goal of supporting scalable high-tech start-ups, founders and scientists from the initial idea to the successful product with the support activities of TUM Entrepreneurship and UnternehmerTUM.
