Heinz Mayer

Heinz Mayer studied telematics at Graz University of Technology, where he gained several years’ experience as a university assistant. He subsequently worked at Magna Steyr, where his roles included Head of Information Management. In 2007, the Graz native joined JOANNEUM RESEARCH and served successfully as Deputy Director of DIGITAL, the Institute for Information and Communication Technologies, and as Head of the ‘Image Analysis and Measurement Systems’ research group before taking over as Director of DIGITAL in 2013. Since 2021 he has been Managing Director of JOANNEUM RESEARCH.
