Georg Krause

Georg Krause has a professional career in the IT and management consulting industry. He has been CEO of msg Plaut since May 2017, where he is responsible for the solutions and consulting business of the msg Group in Austria, CEE & CIS. Previously, he held management positions at various consulting firms, including Horváth & Partners, Steria Mummert, Deloitte Consulting and SAP Consulting. At SAP Austria from 2012 to 2015, he made a significant contribution to the strategic realignment of the consulting business and the sustainable increase in earnings.
Krause was also active for many years in the digital industry association “Internetoffensive Österreich” as a board member and managing director and has been a lecturer at Danube University Krems since 2012. His commitment also includes a board function in the digital competence association fit4internet. He also holds the “Certificate in Governance of Enterprise IT” and is a “Certified Supervisory Expert”.
In addition to his leadership role at msg Plaut, Krause has been recognized as one of the 1000 most influential managers in Austria, which underlines his importance in the Austrian economy.
