Dominique Foray joined EPFL in 2004 as full Professor in economics & management of innovation.
2019 - 2022: Dean of the College of Management of Technology
2007-2017: Director of the Doctoral School in Management of Technology EDMT
2008 - 2016: Member of the Swiss National Research Council
2010 – present: Many expert activities in the area of the EU policy, consulting at UN, WIPO, etc.
2014 – 2017: Member of E-FI (Germany)
2016 – present – Member of the Swiss Science Council
2017 – 2022 – Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Swiss Economic Research Institute
2025 – present - Member of the Advisory Board of the Institute of System Management at the University of St Gallen

Dominique Foray has published a new book in 2025 – Innovation : une économie pour les temps à venir (La Découverte, 2025). The book has got several prizes in the french speaking world : the Grand Prix Turgot – awarding the best book in economics in 2025, as well as the Prix Colbert of the Institut de France and the Prix de l’Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques
