Ulrike Diebold

Ulrike Diebold studied physics in Vienna, conducted research at Rutgers University (New Brunswick) and Tulane University (New Orleans), and was appointed professor at the Institute of Applied Physics at TU Wien in 2010. She received ERC Advanced Grants in 2012 and 2020, and was awarded the Wittgenstein Prize in 2013. Since 2022, Diebold has been Vice-President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW).
