Peter Moser

Rector

Peter Moser studied mining and has been Professor of Mining, Mining Technology and Mining Economics at the Montanuniversität Leoben since 2008, where he also served as Vice-Rector from 2011. In 2022, he was elected Rector of the Montanuniversität Leoben. In 2024, Moser also took over as Chairman of TU Austria. His scientific work focuses on underground mining planning, drilling and blasting technology, mechanical extraction of hard rock and tunnel driving, among other things.
