Eva-Maria Binder

Eva-Maria Binder studied technical chemistry and earned her doctorate in biochemistry and biotechnology (TU Wien). In 1996, she became Director of Strategic Research at BIOMIN, focusing on mycotoxins. From 2003, she served as Chief Scientific Officer of BIOMIN and ROMER LABS, spending two years in Singapore. In 2011, she became Vice President of Research & Development at the parent company ERBER AG, which operates in 140 countries worldwide. From 2018, she headed ERBER Future Business (EFB), the incubator of the ERBER Group, and in 2019 she became a member of the Executive Board of ERBER AG.
In 2020, the ERBER Group was acquired by the Dutch group DSM (Animal Nutrition and Health), which in turn merged with the Swiss food additive group Firmenich in 2023. Binder is now Head of Translational Science in this group.
